Travel and study visits • Professional meetings. Throughout the year, 2nd year Master's students are invited to attend events in Paris, France and abroad to meet the partners of the Master's. Simulated Moot Court competitions. 2nd year Master's students can take part in moot court competitions, including the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court competition and the Digital Law Moot Court Competition.

Objectives
Being the first qualification in the world linking the study of the law of space activities with the law of telecommunications, this course was set up with the support of professional bodies to meet the needs of rapidly expanding industries, looking for highly qualified graduates. It aims to train specialists in legal, regulatory and policy in two strategic areas for the economy and the society: 1) space and aeronautics; 2) telecommunications and digital ecosystem. The philosophy of training, defined by a council composed by the university and 50 French and foreign partners is based on three pillars: 1) Labor market orientation; 2) International training; 3) Interdisciplinar training. The M2 is linked to a research center, IDEST, and an international chair funded by Airbus, Orange and Thales. The French Agency for Academic Evaluation gave the program its best mark (A+) based on the high level of professional specialization and the performances in terms of integration of the graduates on the labor market. It is # 1 in the SMBG ranking in the category Digital Law.

Target Audience and Entry Requirements
The 2nd year Master's DAST is open to holders of a first-year Master's degree in law, and under certain conditions to students with a 1st year Master's or 2nd year Master of economics, management, political science, science, an engineering degree, any other French or foreign degree deemed equivalent, and any professional experience deemed equivalent. The pre-specialisation 1st year Master's is the 1st year Master's Intellectual Property and Digital Law at Université Paris-Saclay. In the context of starting the 2nd year Master's, the profiles sought are students with experience in the sectors covered by the 2nd year Master's (telecommunications and digital, space, aeronautics, defence). Given the high demand for specialists in telecommunications law (5G, fibre, satellite, cable, connectivity), these profiles are particularly sought-after. Another topical sector is cyber and space defence. Candidates specialising in these domains are also sought after.
