Target Audience and Entry Requirements
The History degree requires a good disciplinary knowledge, a taste for reading all types of sources (texts, images, archaeology, monuments, etc.) and a mastery of writing, working and reasoning methods. Rigor is also a prerequisite for historical criticism and the methodology specific to history. Curiosity about foreign cultures is a plus. Last but not least, a high level of motivation, backed up by a career plan in line with the course requirements, will be a key selection criterion.
For entry into thrid year, validation of a second year in generalist humanities degree with optional history courses is strongly recommended.
